About Us
Woodfelder Tree Care is a small company with big ambitions. We’re known across Manchester and Stockport for delivering high-quality tree work with professionalism, safety, and efficiency.
We’re not here to push people to their limits — we’re here to do excellent work, safely and sustainably. We price jobs properly so our team never has to rush or work in unsafe conditions. We invest in good equipment, proper planning, and a supportive team environment where everyone can do their best work and go home safe each day.
At Woodfelder, safety and wellbeing come first. We take pride in being reliable, well-organised, and easy to work with — both for our clients and our crew.
Our Culture
We believe work should fit into life, not the other way around. We love an early finish when possible, and we understand that our people have lives, passions, and families outside of work.
Our climbers and ground crew are all avid boulderers and rock climbers, and a couple are skateboarders too. We’re an active, outdoorsy bunch who thrive on teamwork, clear communication, and doing a job properly the first time.
If you care about doing great tree work safely — and want to join a company that genuinely looks after its people — we’d love to hear from you.
The Role
We’re expanding and are looking for an experienced Team Leader / Lead Climber to head up our new crew. You’ll take responsibility for on-site operations, ensure work is carried out safely and efficiently, and maintain our reputation for top-quality workmanship.
You’ll have the support of a tight-knit management team and a skilled crew who share your standards and enthusiasm for arboriculture.
